Hello Friends. As executive director I find much joy in sharing
with you all the gifts that Whispering Springs Haven has to offer.

While living in Ocean City from 1985 to 2005, I owned Image Consultants, Concepts Design and Production, Inc.,
an award winning advertising and marketing design studio specializing in tourism and economic development, servicing clients within southern NJ coastal resorts. I provided complete multi-media services to include concept, design, illustration, photography, copywriting, pre-press production, broadcast radio and video production, website design and advertising and marketing consultation. I have shot 20,000+ photographs and published my best, recording the beauty of the sea, its wildlife and it’s privileged lifestyle. Recognized for my high standards of artistic quality and an endless flow of creative concepts, I have five awards of excellence in my name.

I love my work, have great fun doing it and live in gratitude because of it. Yet, at the height and success of my tourism career, my passion for it began to dwindle. It was getting harder to shoot photographs that did not display the negative impact to the environment and quality of life. Over development, over population and sprawl driven by tourism economics has severely upset natural balances. Our coastlines are disappearing, and our wildlife is threatened. I witnessed how, in many ways, we have become disconnected with source, and have forgotten our responsibility as stewards to that which sustains us. With eyes wide open, I realized my tourism promotion work
was in conflict with my love and appreciation for all life. I felt a strong desire to deepen my artist commitment,
my creative life for a higher good.

Fueled by positive energy and the belief that we co-create our reality making anything possible - I changed course. In 1997 I began focusing on an idea I had called Whispering Springs Haven for the Arts, Wellness and Nature Studies. (Some would describe it more as a crazed obsession). I wrote its mission statement, its objectives, researched market demand, and established a 5-year action plan that included the dissolution of my successful advertising studio of 18 years.

On September 11, 2001, I completed the design for our workshop facility – “The Hummingbird House” - and construction began shortly thereafter. Over the years I have done much of the interior finishing work myself, juggling my professional and personal life between two worlds 450 miles apart.

It took awhile, but as planned, I dissolved Image Consultants at the end of 2005 and formed KGA Studios, LLC, organized to better suit my new artist direction. On June 1, 2006, Whispering Springs Haven for the Arts, Wellness and Nature Studies, LLC was formed and I officially became a workshop instructor and its executive director.
I now limit my promotional work to its advancement, and the advancement of my art along with that our fine
artians and craftsman. As a teacher and healer, I am compassionate and dedicated to your personal growth.
As a fine artist, I produce original illustrated photography, water color and pastel drawings that feature written works by my husband and I focusing on the arts, wellness, humanity, spirituality and the environment - as well as works by other authors. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of KGA Studios products support the wildlife habitats of Whispering Springs.

In addition to my roles within Whispering Springs Haven, as a place of private retreat - I too seek its peace
to re-connect to source and self. Its silence to me is truly golden. In it I hear guidance. With it I learned to trust and courageously step into un-chartered terrority without overwhelming fear. The purpose of Whispering Springs Haven has helped me re-direct my life and my art. It fulfills my desire to be of service to others and to the earth.
It has reaffirmed the importance of supportive relationships, the freedom of unconditional love and commitment
to husband, son, family and friends. In its creation I received many gifts - in its creation, I pass the gifts on to you.

Happily married to my best friend, and stepmom to our son, my husband and I, along with our family of cats,
left the high energy coastline of Ocean City, NJ and now reside in Hopewell Township, outside of Bridgeton, NJ. Our home is surrounded by preserved farmland and houses KGA Studios and the corporate offices of Whispering Springs Haven. Yes, I miss the moon shadow walks on the white beaches, but as I sit with one of my kitty cats in the light of a blue moon, or indulge in moonlight walks along the flowing creeks of Whispering Springs - I am in gratitude for the abundance, knowing all so well - that nothing more is necessary - yet anything is possible…
