Whispering Springs Haven is located in Braxton County within the Mountain Lakes Region of Central West Virginia, just minutes away from Historic Sutton, and Gassaway along the scenic Elk River, and Flatwoods. Five of West Virginia's major lakes are located here - Burnsville, Stonewall Jackson, Stonecoal, Summersville and Sutton. Our rolling hills, peaceful countryside, dramatic vistas and deep clear waters offer awe-inspiring landscapes to entice the palette of any artist - as well as the best hiking, mountain biking, skiing, whitewater sports, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, swimming, and fishing.

Culturally, the region offers some of the best in West Virginia Made juried fine arts and craft galleries, artist/craftsman studio tours, performing arts centers, fine gourmet or home-style country dining, antique and collectible shops or name brand outlet stores.
