At Whispering Springs Haven,
one can be, become and let it be……
Conducive to creativity, quiet contemplation, meditation and exploration… one can almost hear the silenced voices of Native American tribal life amongst the cool mountain springs… where one will hear the echoing call of the eagle or red-tail hawk and instinctively pause in receipt of its ancient wisdom… where one will find peace and healing amongst the solitude, or personal growth amongst a small community of like-minded friends sharing creative arts, wellness and nature studies.
Nestled within a beautiful Appalachian valley of Braxton County, Central West Virginia, Whispering Springs Haven - a private wildlife refuge - comprises 102 acres of open fields, 4 rushing creeks, waterfalls and a forest abundant with indigenous wildlife, wildflowers, rare plants and medicinal herbs. Song bird habitats and a pond grace the refuge and surround “The Hummingbird House”, a 2100 square foot facility - all connected by a network of low impact trails. "Coon Knob" - the highest vantage point in Braxton County, is situated within the property lines of Whispering Springs and easily traversed by experienced hikers. The 360º view atop Coon Knob is breathtaking.
Located off I-79, Exit 51, Frametown, Central West Virginia
