For beginners as well as serious enthusiasts with extended art backgrounds. Exercises will include measurement, proportion and perspective; composition, working with light, color variations and angle of views, mixing color and media techniques. To emphasize, one of our days will be spent producing many studies of the same outdoor composition for one full day - beginning with morning light and ending with the light of an autumn sunset. In addition the same compositions will be explored through photography - as a tool to assist the artist, as well an art medium. Lighting techniques, camera exposure settings and framing compositions will be explored. A demonstration of artist rendering techniques in Adobe Photoshop will be presented.
